Khadija Kopa and Mzee Yusuf
The duo are among the most impressive artistes in coastal areas and
Tanga regions and they have promised fireworks during the concert,
which is the last in upcountry before the grand finale in Dar es Salaam
on September 6 to mark the end of Kili Music Tour 2014.
‘This tour aims at taking top artistes to their fans and also
promoting local music hence the reason for us choosing the slogan
‘kikwetu-kwetu’ meaning feeling proud of what is ours,’ said the beer’s
brand manager George Kavishe.
He said the entrance fee for the show is 3,000/- plus a free beer
for entrants above 18. Artistes expected to perform at the concert
besides the duo include Professor J, Rich Mavoko, Ben Pol, Weusi and
Ommy Dimpoz.
This tour is coordinated by East Africa TV and Radio, Executive
Solutions, Aggrey and Clifford, Integrated Communications and Aim
Group.
