Kanye West And Kim Kardashian Buy $20 Million Home

Located in Hidden Hills, a small city in Los Angeles County, the new estate will replace the couple's Bel-Air home.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have “opened escrow on a…$20
million mansion” according to E! News.
The website reports that the property encompasses 3.5 acres of land and two swimming pools, spas, and a contained vineyard.
The news comes just weeks after reports that the couple was looking to sell their $11 million Bel-Air property. E! also cites an anonymous source who claims that Kanye and Kim were interested in the added space. "They wanted more land than the Bel-Air home, so they are flipping that and will have the two homes now," the source said. "But they will sell that and move into Hidden Hills." The Hidden Hills location will also put the couple in the same small San Fernando Valley city as Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner.
E!’s source added that the new purchase was also motivated in part by concerns over privacy. "It is way more private and secure with a whole security home above,” the source said.
Earlier today TMZ released excerpts from a transcript of a deposition in an assault case involving a paparazzi photographer in which West speaks on being mistreated as a celebrity.
"I equate it to discrimination,” he said of celebrity treatment in the US. “I equate it to inequalities...We, as group of minorities here in L.A., as celebrities, have to band together to influence guys like this, guys trying to take the picture, guys trying to get the big win, guys trying to get the check."
